I got an e-mail last night from a younger reader, telling me Witless Wednesday isn’t really funny anymore, it’s becoming depressing. All I can think of was to respond “It’s Working.” Since most people seem to be figuring out that Witless Wednesday was never intended to make you laugh, I thought I would try to make up for that today. Even I get tired of the political jokes we have been electing, so I spent last night in the gutter, going through the bowels of internet humor. Warning; Low Brow Humor Ahead. The only point of today’s column is to get a chuckle out of you.












When a majority of my readers are telling me Witless Wednesday is starting to get them wondering what kind of buffoons we’ve been electing, I know the message is getting through. No matter how we look at it, election day is still 11 months away, so just doing my part to keep us laughing until then.

As long as we keep electing political jokes, I’m sure I’ll always have the witless to poke fun of on Wednesdays. Just watching C-Span and the debates is enough to convince me of that. What I need convincing of is that the American voters are getting smart enough to stop electing buffoons. And just to leave you laughing; crude but effective,
